Butler America Aerospace, LLC is seeking an experienced electromechanical designer/drafter in Bloomfield, CT. The role focuses on drawings, modeling and packaging solutions, with Creo and Windchill data management.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with technical training (or equivalent), a proven track record from Drafter to Designer, and strong attention to detail to produce accurate engineering documentation. Butler is an equal opportunity employer.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be an experienced electromechanical designer familiar with drawing/modeling/engineering specifications related to process and documentation. Seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and ability in packaging (specifically sheet metal PCB and electromechanical components), proficiency in the use of Creo software and Windchill Data Management. The candidate is to have the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously, work effectively both in a team environment and independently; and demonstrate ability to respond to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and revise detailed drawings, models, and assemblies using Creo
• Support design activities for components, assemblies, and packaging solutions
• Utilize Windchill to manage document control and workflow processes
• Track, update, and communicate project status to management
• Ensure all work complies with company standards and policies

Required Skills

• Proficient in interpreting and producing technical drawings
