Job summary

Ztek Consulting, Inc. in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Full Time Designer/Drafter to create elevator drawings and CAD models using Creo and Windchill.

You will develop and modify drawings, configure BOMs for elevator units, and lead the creation and maintenance of complex CAD assemblies and engineering documentation. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with sheet metal and wire harnesses, a strong grasp of GD&T and configuration control, and a engineering degree or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent training preferred

Responsibilities

• Create preliminary and final elevator drawings.
• Configure bills of materials for elevator units.
• Modify drawings and/or bills of materials for preapproved, non-standard requests.
• Lead the development, modification, and maintenance of complex CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Serve as the technical expert for Creo, Windchill.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and configuration control.
