Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor in Rochester, NY.

The role directs the manufacturing engineering team, partners with cross-functional groups, and drives cost reduction and process improvements across the facility. The supervisor will oversee tooling, documentation, and capital equipment projects, while supporting Lean and safety initiatives and developing talent within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience supervising teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily engineering department workflow.
• Partner with production, facilities, QA and supply chain to set priorities.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and improve process efficiency.
• Design and select test and capital equipment; manage documentation.
• Lead Lean initiatives and ensure safety and compliance.
