Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor for the Orchard Park, NY site. This full-time, onsite role leads the Manufacturing Engineering group, drives continuous improvement, and supports the annual growth plan with EHS-aligned projects.

You will guide equipment investment, support new product launches, and mentor engineers to achieve OPE, OTD, and FPY targets while delivering cost savings and maintaining ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or operations.
• 3+ years in manufacturing processes or manufacturing engineering.
• 2+ years managing direct reports, including performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Manufacturing Engineers and supports new product launches, driving unit objectives including OPE, OTD, FPY, revenue, and cost savings.
• Determine resource needs for the ME team and deploy team members where they deliver the most value.
• Provide the engineering solutions and technical direction that support the manufacturing objectives of the site's Integrated Product Teams.
• Guide the team in identifying, acquiring, and integrating the equipment and tooling that establishes or improves manufacturing capability.
• Direct facility layout evaluation and development against operational requirements, in step with Management of Change responsibilities.
• Build the site capital plan: identify the assets required, write the Cap Ex proposals, and complete the supporting ROI analysis.
• Grow the skills, knowledge, and development plans of the ME group.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, communicating clearly with every function of the business.
