Job summary

Amentum seeks a General Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join our team. You will perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and system installations in mission-critical environments, following NEC and OSHA standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least two years of electrical experience, a journeyman license, and strong skills with blueprints and hand/power tools. Safety and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of electrical service and maintenance experience.
• Journeyman-level certification and licensure in electrical systems.
• Familiarity with NEC codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and repairs of electrical systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks to resolve issues.
• Install or modify electrical systems following applicable codes.
• Follow LOTO and PPE; ensure safety compliance.
• Interpret drawings and wiring diagrams to plan maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and inspections.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to complete tasks.
