Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in electrical service and maintenance.
• Journeyman-level certification and licensure in electrical systems.
• Familiarity with basic mathematical functions for electrical calculations.
• Extensive knowledge of hand and power tools used in electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance & repair of systems including wiring, circuits, panels, breakers, and lighting.
• Preventative maintenance; calibrate and test equipment for proper function.
• Assist in installation or modification of electrical systems per codes; use drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Follow safety practices; participate in audits, drills, and training.
• Maintain and use hand and power tools; ensure proper storage and condition.
• Interpret drawings and diagrams; document repairs and inspections for transparency and audits.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers; communicate system status and recommendations.
