Job summary

Mount Franklin Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to set up, adjust, and maintain production equipment, monitor systems, and perform preventative maintenance on packaging lines. You will analyze and repair electrical and mechanical problems, read diagrams, and install new equipment while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

The role requires knowledge of PLC programming, electrical measurement tools, and pneumatic systems, with experience in fault tracing and motor installation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with or without technical training; 3 years' experience preferred.
• Experience reading electrical diagrams and interpreting schematics.
• Experience with PLC programming and electrical control systems.
• Experience using electrical measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and motor installation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with GMP and food safety standards.
• Repair equipment for Maintenance, Production, Sanitation and Warehouse to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and assist in installing new packaging lines.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical/mechanical problems; repair and overhaul equipment and controls.
• Ensure equipment functionality and safe operation, following quality and 5S practices.
