Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and/or technical training or 3 years’ experience.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical control and experience as a maintenance mechanic.
• Experience using electrical measurement equipment and repairing problems in pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to GMPs in Maintenance, Production and Sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards for food production.
• Provide repairs on equipment for Maintenance, Production, Sanitation and Warehouse.
• Inspect used parts to determine dimensional changes and replace defective parts.
• Set up and operate lathe, drill press and grinder to make/repair parts.
• Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines and repair electrical equipment.
• Analyze mechanical/electrical problems and take corrective action; test equipment after repairs.
