Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in the Woodland, CA area to support electrical systems in an industrial manufacturing setting. The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, solid troubleshooting, and a working knowledge of electrical diagrams and safety standards.

You will install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with continuous improvement while following strict safety guidelines and documenting activity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance mechanic experience.
• Experience as Electrical Controls Technician preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC and OSHA standards.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and work with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Install and repair electrical equipment including transformers, switchboards, and motors.
• Use welding equipment for layouts and fixtures; read blueprints and layouts.
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain equipment to produce quality products and document work orders.
• Provide on-the-job direction and contribute to continuous improvement.
