Job summary

Saint-Gobain Group seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance teams in our Georgia facility. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, drive TPM initiatives, and mentor technicians while upholding safety, quality, and cost targets.

You will organize repairs, coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability, and perform root-cause analyses to implement lasting improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year degree in Electrical discipline (equivalent experience may be considered).
• 5+ years of Supervisory experience.
• Good working knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, VFDs, SCADA and Servo technology.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP familiarity is a plus.
• General understanding of ISO methodology (ISO 9001, 14001, & OHSAS 18001).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S & Six Sigma is a plus.
• Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting and fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Organize and structure planned and unplanned repairs and preventive maintenance routines for efficient operation of equipment and plant systems.
• Directly supervise hourly electrical maintenance personnel in equipment, buildings, machinery, and utilities upkeep.
• Communicate expectations, measure performance, provide coaching, and administer disciplinary action if needed.
• Contribute to planning and scheduling of projects to minimize downtime and maximize safety.
• Develop, review, and implement installation, maintenance, and repair activities with other departments.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable countermeasures for losses in maintenance.
• Ensure PMs are accomplished on time and to high quality standards.
• Support TPM teams in equipment ledgers and problem solving.
