Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Washington, PA site. Lead maintenance activities, direct technicians, drive preventive and predictive programs, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain to improve reliability and plant performance.

This on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2 years of supervision, 5 years maintenance experience, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate daily maintenance activities
• Establish priorities and assign work to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability
• Apply cost containment principals when purchasing goods and services
• Interface with other departments and contractors to ensure day-to-day project completion
• Support site safety initiatives and serve as a champion of site safety programs
• Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and machine guarding requirements
• Support, assist and participate in Kaizen events focused on improving safety, equipment reliability, throughput, quality, and labor efficiency
• Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Root Cause Analysis methodologies to reduce downtime and waste
• Coordinate equipment installations, modifications and facility improvements
• Perform other related functions as required to achieve department and site objectives
