Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong electrical skills to maintain and repair production equipment in Coatesville, PA. You will perform motor installations, troubleshoot 440 V and 250 V systems, and support operating functions to keep lines running efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, legal work status in the U.S., and completion of the RamseyAssessment Test. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and MV gear is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Pre-employment Ramsey Assessment Test required for electrical/electronics roles.
• Demonstrated proficiency with 440 VAC motors and 250V DC motors.
• Experience with 440 VAC starters, medium voltage switchgear, and DC crane control boards is expected.
• Ability to program Allen-Bradley PLCs and perform PLC termination.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on operating and service equipment using standard and specialized tools.
• Make electrical repairs as needed to service equipment.
• Operate equipment during repairs and assist with operating functions to keep equipment running.
• Work independently or with Maintenance Technicians and coordinate with Operating/Service Technicians on maintenance tasks.
