We are recruiting experienced Electrical Maintenance Mechanics to help maintain production equipment, troubleshoot electrical issues, and minimize downtime at an established facility in the Goose Creek area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults affecting motors, drives, control circuits, and production machinery.
• Maintain and repair electric motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot industrial control systems, including PLC-related equipment and associated electrical circuits.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, wiring, disconnects, and power distribution components.
• Use electrical testing equipment, meters, schematics, and wiring diagrams to identify and resolve problems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, equipment installations, component replacements, and system upgrades.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and work with mechanical maintenance and production teams to restore equipment safely.
• Document completed work, communicate outstanding issues during shift changes, and assist with maintenance planning.
• Follow plant safety procedures, including applicable electrical safety and lockout/tagout requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Formal electrical apprenticeship or technical training preferred.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a hands-on industrial position requiring extended periods of standing and walking, along with bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and working in tight or elevated spaces. Employees must be able to lift and carry tools and equipment as required and safely access machinery using ladders and stairs.

The position follows a rotating shift schedule, including day and night shifts, with scheduled blocks of consecutive workdays and days off. Additional hours may be required to support equipment breakdowns, major repairs, and plant maintenance needs.
