Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret manuals.
• Strong commitment to safety, dependable attendance, and good communication.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, mechanical drives, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace or rebuild mechanical components.
• Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, vibrating feeders, hammer mills, cranes, motors, and other industrial equipment.
• Repair piping systems, hoses, fittings, and related components.
• Perform welding, cutting, and metal fabrication as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, equipment manuals, and work instructions.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and other maintenance equipment.
• Document completed work, communicate equipment issues during shift changes, and assist with maintenance planning and parts inventory.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support scheduled repairs, overhauls, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Follow all plant safety and environmental procedures.

• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety, dependable attendance, and effective communication.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a hands-on industrial position requiring extended periods of standing and walking, along with frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and overhead work. Employees must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely access equipment using ladders and stairs.

The position works a rotating shift schedule. Additional hours may be required to support equipment breakdowns, repairs, and plant maintenance needs.
