Responsibilities

• Assist other maintenance shift workers to minimize call-ins of day shift personnel.
• Assist assigned crew with execution of planned activities such as PMs, lubes, or standing work orders.
• Prioritize work requests during multiple orders.
• Assess non-routine breakdown situations and provide turnover information to maintenance staff.
• Accurate and detailed information on work orders.
• Return unused parts to stock and manage stock issues charged to work orders.
• Follow ISO coordinators' guidance regarding ISO registrations.

Maintenance Electrician

Job Purpose

To define the qualifications and duties for a Maintenance Electrician.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for fabricating, installing, inspecting, testing, operating, repairing and maintaining alltypesof electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment in a safe and orderly manner
• Assist other maintenance shift workers throughout the plant in repair efforts tominimize call-ins of day shift personnel
• Assist assigned crew with execution of planned activities such as PM's, lubes, orstanding work orders assigned by the maintenance supervisor
• Prioritize work requests as requested in the event of multiple orders
• Assess non-routine breakdown situations and recommend necessary resourceswhen help is requiredProvide accurate feedback to the appropriate maintenance personnel regardingturnover information on breakdowns and trouble calls
• Accurate and detailed information on work orders
• Applying parts removal tags on rebuild items
• Return to stock warehouse issues that are not needed,
• Proper coding of emergency work orders
• Stock issues are charged to work orders

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Formal Apprenticeship or equivalent trades training is desirable.
• Vocational or high school graduate or equivalent.

Physical Demands

• No restrictions to standing, walking, bending, pushing or pulling
• Able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
• Must successfully pass a rigorous medical examination.
• Ability to climb to extensive heights and enter confined spaces
• Able to withstand extreme weather conditions - heat, cold, rain.
• Must be able to speak clearly and utilize a computer keyboard.
