Job summary

ASARCO LLC is seeking a Superintendent Electrical (Fixed Plant) to lead electrical, instrumentation, and process control maintenance for the Ray Fixed Plant in Arizona. You will guide Supervisors and craftspeople to safely execute maintenance strategies that maximize equipment reliability and plant availability while supporting production goals.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership in building high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of electrical maintenance in heavy industrial/mining settings.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, GE Proficy or similar).
Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide safety leadership and ensure safety compliance with MSHA/OSHA and company policies.
Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisors to develop accountability and continuous improvement.
Develop and execute maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
Coordinate major shutdowns, outages, and capital projects with minimal production impact.
Review faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Manage department budgets and monitor maintenance costs.
