Job summary

ASARCO LLC's Ray mine in Arizona seeks a Superintendent Maintenance/ Electrical (Fixed Plant) to lead Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance, drive reliability, and align priorities with Operations and Reliability. The role develops a high-performing team through coaching and accountability, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership to build high-performing teams.
• Strong electrical maintenance knowledge in heavy industry/mining.
• Experience with high-voltage systems, PLCs, and process control.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Knowledge of reliability-centered and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisors and develop a culture of safety and accountability.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Manage budgets, contractors, and major shutdowns with minimal production impact.
• Develop maintenance strategies with Operations, Reliability, and Engineering.
• Review failures, perform root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
