Job summary

ASARCO LLC seeks an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor to lead and direct a team across mining and milling operations. You will ensure reliable electrical systems, supervise journey-level electricians, and manage maintenance programs to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating preventive maintenance, safety compliance, budgeting, and overseeing contractors and project work. Strong PLC knowledge and experience with 13.8kV power systems preferred.

• Experience supervising frontline electricians and instrument technicians.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise electrical and instrumentation maintenance staff.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance activities, preventive and unplanned.
• Coordinate materials, supplies, and budget within department.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance in the team.
• Communicate daily with production and maintenance leaders to prioritize tasks.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting and repairs of equipment.
• Oversee training of junior electricians to journey level.
• Perform safety and environmental inspections and maintain records.
• Oversee new installations and project work, including ordering supplies.
• Monitor and control department maintenance costs within budget.
• Coordinate onsite contractors for maintenance work and projects.
