Job summary

Shaw Industries Group in Chickamauga, GA seeks a Maintenance Tech Lead to oversee electrical systems, PLCs, inverters, and TPM-driven maintenance in a 12-hour rotating shift. You will mentor Technician-Electricians and Mechanics, drive preventive maintenance, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have strong PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, and team leadership experience in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Must have verifiable industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to interpret schematics and prints; program PLCs and inverters.
• Diagnose maintenance problems and implement improvements.
• Experience with test equipment (DMMs, amp meters, Megger).
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, and related electronics.

Responsibilities

• Receive project assignments and respond to trouble calls.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and mechanics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and oversee electrical projects.
• Assist manufacturing to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Learn Ariba and EZ Entry/TPM for work instructions and parts ordering.
