Job summary

Lowe's in Missouri is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and support home improvement needs. You will listen, answer questions, and organize merchandise across departments.

You may load merchandise, process orders, and cross-train in other areas. This role offers part-time flexibility with benefits such as health insurance, tuition assistance, 401(k) match, associate discount, and Track to the Trades opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
