Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician in Valdosta, GA to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will oversee, train and evaluate Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

You will read and interpret project documents, develop material lists, and coordinate scheduling to meet deadlines. Strong leadership, blueprint comprehension, and on-site troubleshooting are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five workers.
• Strong ability to read and interpret project blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the jobsite.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards and safety requirements.
• Develop a manpower schedule for the team and coordinate with supervision.
• Estimate material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Read drawings and lay out work, install conduit and electrical devices.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits as needed.
