Job summary

Bergelectric Corp. is seeking an Electrical Lead Man to supervise installations in Tempe, AZ, ensuring work meets company standards and contract requirements.

This safety-sensitive role collaborates with the foreman to optimize productivity, safety, quality, scheduling, and material procurement on electrical projects. The ideal candidate has an electrical apprenticeship or journeyman license, strong codes knowledge, and excellent leadership abilities to guide crews and maintain high standards on

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Solid understanding of NEC and electrical codes.
• Mathematics skills for calculating circuits and layouts.
• Ability to diagnose problems and provide timely solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand your assigned portion of the project thoroughly.
• Communicate effectively with foreman and crew.
• Be courteous and cordial to our customers.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, federal, state, county, and local codes.
• Verify necessary materials are on site and received.
• Manage crew productivity and time efficiently.
• Set high performance and quality standards for the project.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals as needed.
• Leverage the prefab shop to support workflows.
• Anticipate issues and take proactive action to prevent problems.
• Lead the team with enthusiasm and motivation.
• Ensure daily starts on time and compliant breaks.
• Maintain accurate as-builts regularly.
• Follow Bergelectric's Employee Handbook and safety policies.
