Job summary

CTS Group seeks an experienced Electrical Lead to take overall responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of the electrical scope on a major data centre project, from design coordination and procurement through construction, energisation, commissioning and final handover.

You will lead the electrical organisation and work closely with Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, QA/QC, HSE, Commercial and Client teams to achieve a coordinated and fully operational handover.

Qualifications

• Recognized electrical trade qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering electrical systems on major construction projects, incl. 5+ years in lead roles.
• Proven experience delivering large electrical packages from design through construction, energisation and handover.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV and LV distribution, transformers, generators, UPS, switchgear and protection systems.
• Fluent English and the ability to perform in a demanding project environment.

Responsibilities

• Take overall ownership of the electrical package throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead electrical management, engineering, supervision and subcontractor teams.
• Coordinate design development with the Design Manager, consultants, specialists and client representatives.
• Monitor progress, productivity and risks; drive escalation and resolution.
• Lead energisation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
