Job summary

EEI is seeking an Electrical Lead for the Mission Critical team to drive electrical commissioning for data centers and high-reliability facilities. You will lead field execution, testing, documentation, and client coordination across multiple projects.

The role requires senior-level expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, and building operations, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Travel up to 75% may be required in a hybrid office/field setting.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in electrical systems, commissioning, facilities operations, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs, and controls.
• Ability to lead commissioning execution and guide technical teams.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and building operations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, sequences of operation, and test plans.
• Strong communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning execution for mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Oversee field execution, testing, and closeout activities across scopes.
• Serve as escalation point for complex electrical issues and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Align commissioning with project scope, schedule, client expectations, and EEI standards.
• Communicate project status, findings, risks, and recommendations to clients and teams.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching for Electrical teams.
• Strengthen safe, high-quality commissioning practices across the discipline.
