Job summary
Oshkosh Defense is seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Oshkosh, WI. You will work with Electrical Integration & V&V engineers on design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems, assisting on the shop floor from prototype to production, and learning testing and documentation skills.
Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering with graduation in December 2027 or later, and be willing to relocate
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for Summer 2027 with relocation assistance if needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems.
- Follow prototype/pilot/build on the shop floor and provide technical assistance.
- Learn vehicle troubleshooting and document processes effectively.
- Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Learn test cases to validate embedded system functionality, performance and safety.
- Verify CAN/LIN/Ethernet communications using CANoe, DET, CANalyzer or INCA.
