Job summary

Oshkosh Defense in Oshkosh, WI is seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to work with the Electrical Integration & V&V team on embedded systems development.

You will assist with design, testing, and troubleshooting across CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks, gain hands-on experience on prototype builds, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams. Relocation support available for eligible candidates; pay range $18–$37/hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering.
• Expected graduation December 2027 or later.
• Willing to relocate to Oshkosh, WI for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems.
• Follow prototype builds on the assembly floor and provide technical assistance.
• Learn vehicle troubleshooting and documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Learn/test CAN, LIN, Ethernet communications and validate functionality.
