Job summary

Arkema is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the IEC craft team at a chemical manufacturing facility. The role reports to the Shift Leader and works with maintenance, production engineering and scheduling groups to deliver tasks and maintain safety and compliance.

Key duties include calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems such as pressure, flow, level, temperature and PH, plus environmental monitoring and MCCs.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical certification in either industrial electrical/instrument/control/HVAC systems.
• Must have annual OSHA-approved CPR training.
• Minimum 5-years related experience and/or 2-years of college/trade school in addition to High School Diploma.
• Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Excel).
• Proficiency of plant specific software (CMMS, PI or similar).

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of the Instrument, Electrical, and Controls (IEC) craft workers group.
• Participates in daily maintenance execution meeting and “Safety Toolbox” discussion.
• Completes assigned work order tasks outlined in the IEC craft schedule.
• Supports and performs assigned instrument and electrical tasks as required.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with HSE procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Provides Safety Support and Incident Investigations.
• On-call for afterhours support for Plant as needed.
