Job summary

INVISTA is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our Camden, SC maintenance team. You will improve the reliability and performance of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across manufacturing equipment, collaborating with operators, engineers, and reliability specialists.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain LV/MV electrical gear, calibrate process instruments, and work with Honeywell DCS/PLC platforms.

Qualifications

Must read piping and instrumentation diagrams, loop diagrams, wiring schematics and electrical one-lines.
Experience with NFPA 70E electrical-safety practices and adherence to policies.
Proficient in using CMMS and SAP for work orders, PM scheduling and parts history.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment (15kV, 480V).
Install, calibrate, and maintain 4‑20 mA and 0‑10 VDC process-loop instruments.
Navigate Honeywell distributed control systems to trace signals and support field troubleshooting.
Read ladder logic and make controlled changes under change management.
Diagnose motor and VFD faults and repair field wiring in hazardous locations.
