Job summary
SC Petfood Solutions is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support our Ward, SC facility. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation, control, and electrical equipment critical to our manufacturing process.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, hands-on PLC/HMI skills (Allen Bradley ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View), instrumentation experience with Endress+Hauser/IFM/Rockwell PlantPAx, and working knowledge of
Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience required (minimum 3 years).
- Experience reading P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on PLC/HMI experience with Allen Bradley and FactoryTalk View.
- Familiarity with instrumentation and safety standards (NEC, NFPA 70E).
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical panels and control systems.
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instrumentation (flow, pressure, level, temperature).
- Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (e.g., Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk View).
- Diagnose faults in 480V three-phase, 120V AC, and 24V DC systems.
