Job summary

ADM is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist for the West Decatur IL Plant. This full-time, hourly role offers 1st shift hours (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) with potential overtime, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

You will install, replace, calibrate and troubleshoot 4-20mA devices, read blueprints, wire PLC racks, and work with instrumentation knowledge and PLCs. Industrial safety and Lockout/Tagout experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience and/or equivalent degree
• Able to run conduit, troubleshoot, read blueprints
• Associate's degree and/or Instrumentation education and PLC knowledge
• Clear, professional communication across departments
• Willingness to perform general maintenance outside instrumentation scope

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, calibrate, and troubleshoot 4-20mA devices
• Install and wire PLC racks, power supplies, I/O cards
• Troubleshoot controls with multi-meter and diagnose issues
• Maintain manuals and records; ensure production efficiency
• Work overtime and in hazardous locations as needed
• Follow safety programs including Lockout/Tagout and Arc Flash
