Reworld Projects in Fort Myers, FL seeks an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair the facility's electrical and control systems, spanning 120V to 13.8 kV and AC switchgear. You will work on boilers, DCS, CEMS, and associated instrumentation while following strict safety practices.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, testing of switchgear, transformers, and motor starters, troubleshooting PLCs and control systems, and supporting

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of three years as a maintenance electrician in a power plant or similar field.
• Formal technical or apprentice training is required.
• Strong working knowledge of 120V to 13.8kV, AC switchgear.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance on industrial plant electrical distribution systems in a waste to energy facility.
• Test and maintain low/medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
• Maintain higher voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine generators.
• Oversee energy-from-waste boilers and associated equipment including fans, motors, and cranes.
• Service energy-from-waste air pollution control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair CEMS, instrumentation, and control systems; calibrate and adjust as needed.
• Work with DCS and historian devices; perform preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Operate calibration equipment and document maintenance records; participate in plant shutdowns.
