Job summary

ENGIE North America in Golden, CO seeks an Electrical & Instrument Technician II to maintain and operate complex electrical, control, and plant systems essential for safe, reliable operations. You’ll report to the Maintenance Supervisor and perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot motors, MCCs, relays, UPS systems, and related equipment daily.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation.
• Ability to work on-site daily and operate CMMS to track readings and maintenance.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical and control systems (motors, MCCs, relays, breakers, UPS/battery systems).
• Diagnose electrical issues and coordinate with vendors or engineering for support.
• Calibrate, test, and repair PLCs, gas analyzers, boiler and turbine controls.
• Maintain safety, reliability, and availability of plant systems.
