Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Electrical & Instrumentation QC Inspector. This role ensures the quality of craft personnel and subcontractors and that installed products meet project plans, specifications, and cited codes.

The inspector will perform surveillance, document inspections with photos, and coordinate punch list activities to support commissioning and startup handoffs on major projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical inspections on heavy commercial, oil & gas, power generation, nuclear, military, and treatment plant projects.
• Experience ensuring on-site work meets codes and specifications.
• Ability to prepare inspection reports with photos and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assures on-site work meets applicable codes and specifications.
• Safely observe and prepare inspection reports with photos and illustrations.
• Performs task assignments for MOPO, Shutdown, Commissioning, and Start-Up Teams.
• Reviews and controls documentation for certification of construction equipment and testing equipment.
