Job summary

Black & Veatch, a leading engineer, procurement and construction firm, seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation QC Inspector for on-site work in Harriman, TN. The role ensures craft personnel and subcontractors meet project plans, codes and specifications through rigorous inspection and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in supervisory or QC roles on heavy industrial projects, plus a B.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and construction experience.

Qualifications

• Electrical inspection in heavy commercial/oil & gas/power generation/nuclear/military fields.
• B.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 4+ years construction experience.
• QEW certification in heavy industry fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures site work meets codes and specifications.
• Prepare inspection reports with photos and illustrations.
• Oversees MOPO, Shutdown, Commissioning and Start-Up task assignments.
• Review documentation for equipment certification and testing.
• Support punch list walkdowns and handoff to Commissioning.
