Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies in Claude, Texas, is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation QC Inspector. This role ensures on-site work complies with codes and project specs; you will prepare inspection reports with photos and help coordinate MOPO, Shutdown, Commissioning, and Start-Up activities.

The position requires 3+ years as a Superintendent with a degree or 5+ years without, and a B.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred with 4+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years as Superintendent with degree, or 5+ years without.
• Experience completing pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) per project rules.

Responsibilities

• Assures work on-site meets applicable codes and specifications.
• Safely observe and carefully prepare inspection reports with photos and illustrations.
• Performs task assignments for the MOPO, Shutdown, Commissioning, and Start-Up Teams.
• Surveillance/audits of site craft personnel and subcontractor QC programs; reviews and controls documentation for certifications.
