This role involves selecting, setting up, and operating electronic instrumentation and related electromechanical equipment used for testing and data translation to engineering. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires problem solving, maintenance planning, and collaboration with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with cascaded drive systems, ladder logic, AB PLCs, AB RS View 32, DC Drive systems, AC Vectored Drive Systems, Programming.
• Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
• Flexible to change; ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts; computer skills; strong problem-solving and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Selects, installs, calibrates, and checks sensing, telemetry, and recording instrumentation; develops specs for nonstandard apparatus.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment.
• Installs or directs outside contractors for installation or repair and upkeep of test apparatus.
• Uses computerized equipment and software to perform testing and generate graphs.
