Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Maintenance Op II for the second shift to support the Filtration and Advanced Materials functions. The role focuses on safe maintenance, preventive tasks, and timely equipment repairs to align with the production schedule.

Strong electrical/mechanical skills and OSHA awareness are essential. This position requires lifting, reading schematics, and collaborating with team members to ensure continuous operations while upholding CGMP and safety standards in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.
• Read and comprehend English.
• Read basic schematics and understand ladder logic.
• Knowledge of 3-phase power and circuits.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and accident-free shift operations.
• Communicate issues to leadership and follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
• Inspect and calibrate equipment to CGMP safety and quality standards.
• Complete housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Identify and correct system weaknesses in OSHA/regulatory contexts.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and document actions.
