Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm and life safety systems with minimal guidance. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide installation support and training, and progress through the trade program as you grow with the company.

Qualified candidates have experience with wiring access control, cameras, door hardware, reading blueprints, and using standard test equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and wiring access control, network cameras, door hardware, panel installation & wiring, and programming of door and camera additions.
• Solid understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring methods.
• Strong communication with customers and team, ability to read schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm & life safety systems and building automation.
• Provide installation support and training to customers and colleagues.
• Interpret manuals and wiring diagrams; use test instruments and hand tools.
• Ensure on-site safety, quality, and project progress per Convergint standards.
