Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking an Electrical Installer to install, program, test, repair, and service security, access control, IP cameras, and life safety systems in a construction environment. You will interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, work with customers and colleagues, and progress through the trade program with on-site training and mentorship.

You should have strong electrical aptitude, blueprint literacy, and solid mechanical skills, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience installing access control, network cameras, door hardware, panel installation & wiring, and programming of door and camera additions.
• Solid Construction Skills and understanding of system plans.
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, manuals and installation procedures.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure; meet customer needs without prompting.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of systems and equipment including security, access control, cameras, fire alarm & life safety, and building automation.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams; repair equipment using electronics knowledge and test instruments.
• Provide basic installation assistance as directed by project lead and train less experienced Installers.
• Take ownership of on-site projects with emphasis on safety, quality and performance; follow Convergint Quality Standards.
