Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience installing wiring for access control, network cameras, door hardware, and panel installations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and wiring schematics.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with tool proficiency.
• Good math skills for area, velocity, resistance, voltage calculations.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire life safety, and building automation systems.
• Work closely with customers and colleagues to provide technical installation support and training.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and repair equipment using electronics knowledge.
• Provide basic installation assistance as directed by the project lead.
• Lead on-site projects with focus on safety, quality, and performance.
• Suggest installation methods to improve profitability and quality.
• Learn and progress through the Electrical Installer III role within the trade program.
• Provide feedback to the project lead on issues and task timing.
• Mentor or train less experienced Electrical Installers as needed.
