Job summary
Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm, life safety, and building automation systems. You will work with customers and team members to deliver technical installation support and training.
The role emphasizes safety, quality, and responsiveness, with opportunities for growth through our trade program and strong on-site collaboration.
Qualifications
- Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in electronic security industry.
- Previous construction experience including some level of electrical or a low voltage background.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of systems and equipment including security, fire alarm & life safety.
- Provide technical installation support and training to customers and colleagues.
- Interpret manuals and wiring diagrams; read blueprints and schematics; use test instruments and hand tools.
- Ensure safety, quality, and performance on site per Convergint standards.
- Progress through the trade program by learning Electrical Installer III tasks.
