Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join our team. You will install, program, start-up and certify systems on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects, with training provided to customers as needed.

You’ll read blueprints, wire plans, and equipment layouts, applying basic construction and electrical skills. A 1–3 year installation background is preferred, with strong teamwork and safety focus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years electrical installation experience.
• Experience in electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation or building automation.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings, and understand wiring methods and cable support installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up/check-out, certify, and train customers on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects.
• Work on larger projects when needed and maintain project budgets and timelines.
• Perform other duties as required.
