Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join our culture-driven team. You will install, program, start-up and certify Fire, Security, and Building Automation systems on small to medium projects, delivering results on time and within budget.

You should have basic construction skills, the ability to read blueprints, and sensible electrical aptitude. This role offers growth within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: Basic construction with some level of electrical or a low voltage background.
• Preferred Experience: 1–3 years in electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation or building automation.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up/check-out on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects which are small to medium in scope.
• Certification and related customer training on assigned projects.
• Deliver projects effectively within budgeted cost and time with guidance as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
