Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join a dynamic team. You will lead installation, programming, start-up, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires 5–7 years of construction experience with electrical or low voltage backgrounds, strong blueprint reading, and a customer-focused mindset in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant and previous construction including some level of electrical or a low voltage background.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures.
• Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Delivers assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules with minimal guidance.
• Supervises other Installers.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
