Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join our culture-driven team. You will be installing, programming, and certifying Fire, Security, and Building Automation systems on small to medium projects, with opportunities to work on larger, more complex deployments as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on construction work, reading blueprints, and applying basic electrical knowledge, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Basic ability to read and understand blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up/check-out, certify, and train on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Work on larger projects with greater complexity as needed and able.
• Deliver assigned projects effectively within budgeted cost and time schedules with guidance.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
