Job summary
Granite City Electric is seeking a self-motivated inside sales professional to grow customer relationships and drive sales for residential, commercial and industrial customers across New England. The role focuses on accounts, growth planning with the Branch Manager, and coordination with sales teams to deliver excellent service.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or some college), prior sales experience, and knowledge of electrical products.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience required.
- Knowledge of electrical applications and layout is a plus.
- Experience with Eclipse software is preferred.
- Exposure to the electrical distribution industry is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Grow and develop accounts with the branch base.
- Plan growth strategies with Branch Manager.
- Coordinate with counter contractor and outside sales teams on orders and customer status.
- Process inquiries, purchase orders, back orders, credits, and price changes promptly.
- Maintain accurate customer data and pricing information.
- Negotiate to maximize sales and profitability.
- Participate in training and strategic meetings.
