Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support management, outside sales engineers, and customers with technical and commercial solutions in power distribution and maintenance. This onsite role emphasizes closing orders, pricing, and product knowledge to optimize sales and margin for NAS Division in the Pelham area.

The candidate will provide technical support to distributors and coordinate small-to-medium projects, with a focus on electrical systems and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 1 year of work experience
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
• No relocation benefit; 50-miles radius Pelham, AL

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications; determine minimum bill of material, most competitive price, shipment cycle within market segment.
• Proactively facilitate timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing resources or creating procedures.
• Coordinate warranty and non-warranty repairs and returns, including shipping issues or service requests.
• Project manage small to medium projects as needed.
• Establish and maintain high commercial relations with customers using sales, application engineering, product knowledge, and Eaton strategic plans.
