Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking a qualified engineering leader to manage the Electrical I&C and Power Systems Engineers, driving accountability for station needs and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on high-quality engineering results through staff development and program leadership.

Preferred candidates hold a Professional Engineer registration, an advanced degree, and supervisory experience; nuclear plant experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) or related science.
• PE license or equivalent professional registration.
• Active/Inactive SRO license with 5 years of engineering or related experience including 1 year nuclear power plant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Electrical I&C and Power Systems Engineers.
• Provide engineering leadership and regulatory compliance for station needs.
• Direct performance and development of engineering personnel to achieve high-quality results.
• Lead short-term and long-term engineering programs impacting site operations.
• Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Performance reviews for assigned staff.
• Act as senior resource in NGG-wide programs for standardized engineering systems and processes.
• Support outage activities and emergencies as directed by management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) OR related science

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years of engineering or related experience (including 1 year nuclear power plant experience)
