Job summary

PremierAgile Consulting Private Limited is seeking an electrical engineering-focused intern in Los Angeles. You will assist in design, analysis, testing, and evaluation of electrical systems spanning from low-voltage DC to high-voltage power distribution.

Collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe and manufacturable designs, with mentorship from experienced engineers. The role welcomes undergrad or grad students in EE/CE, with coursework in power systems, controls, and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Coursework or project experience in electrical power systems, instrumentation and controls, circuit design, embedded systems, control systems, or power electronics.
• Ability to solve technical problems using first-principles thinking and sound engineering fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams.
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, analysis, testing, and evaluation of electrical systems from low-voltage DC circuits to high-voltage three-phase power distribution.
• Support development of instrumentation and control systems for the uranium enrichment facility.
• Assist with electrical load calculations, power distribution studies, and analysis of onsite power generation including backup power and microgrid architectures.
• Contribute to electrical system documentation such as schematics, specifications, wiring diagrams, and design packages.
• Participate in component selection, prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation testing.
• Support qualification and acceptance testing for electrical and control systems.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, chemical, and nuclear engineers to ensure systems are safe, reliable, manufacturable, and maintainable.
• Learn engineering design processes with mentorship from experienced engineers while contributing to impactful projects.
