Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) in Arizona seeks an Engineer - Design/Configuration Management Electrical/I&C to ensure reliability and long-term performance of critical power system infrastructure at PVNGS.

You will apply engineering analysis, collaborate with teams, and provide technical guidance while supporting safe, dependable energy delivery for APS communities. Strong ABET-accredited degree and 5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• A four-year Bachelors degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Five years experience in Engineering-related positions.
• A relevant Masters degree in Engineering may substitute for one year of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering plans, designs, analysis, specifications, cost estimates, evaluations, studies, technical reviews, investigations and verifications.
• Complies with design, regulatory, operating and maintenance requirements.
• Ensures analyses, design, project control, schedule commitments, or oversight work is technically sound and compliant with standards.
• Interfaces with customers and other departments to ensure project objectives are understood and meet requirements.
• Provides technical guidance to department personnel and may oversee engineering programs.
